Body Control Pilates

Body Control Pilates have been training teachers since 1996 and are widely seen as a benchmark for safe and effective teaching of the highest quality, with an international network of over 1,500 teachers.

Their matwork course is the most comprehensive of its kind and is widely seen as an international benchmark. All Body Control Pilates teachers have at minimum, completed a comprehensive training course and work to a Code of Practice governing teaching standards, professional ethics and continuing education.

 

 

International Pilates Standards

Body Control Pilates is proud to be one of the three Founders of the Society for the Pilates Method (SPM). The SPM have created an alliance of Pilates training providers within the UK to ensure and promote the delivery of quality training.

 

Their overriding mission is to uphold the quality of Pilates education and teaching and, to this end, it has adopted new standards for matwork and studio apparatus, leading to a Comprehensive qualification. These standards were developed with, and are overseen by, PD:Approval, a leading international agency in the development of occupational standards and quality assurance.

 

The Body Control Pilates matwork teacher training course meets this new standard, signifying that the teacher’s qualification has wide international recognition.
